What a Christmas I have had.
It was filled with fun, family, friends and food. Lots and lots and lots of food. And I would not change a single moment of it. Not even when we almost knocked over the Christmas tree after a particularly vigorous dancing session during which I discovered that I somehow know almost all the words to ‘do you want to build a snowman’. Go cool mama.
I thought this peach match smoothie would be a great way to welcome New Year on the blog. It is an easy way to get some of that green tea goodness and fruit into all of us. Happy New Year people and raise this healthy smoothie to 2015.
- 2 large ripe peaches peeled and stoned
- ½ tsp matcha
- ½ tsp minced ginger
- 240ml (1 cup) almond milk
- 1 peeled banana
- Date syrup or other sweetener to taste (optional)
- Blend all the ingredients together and serve.
