Make this Pear clementine Juice by simmering clementine juice with pear juice and spices for a warming drink plus give yourself a head start for Christmas 2016 recipes.
So Christmas 2015 is long over. But the good news is that there are only another 315 sleeps till Christmas 2016. And, it is never too early to start thinking of more Christmas recipes. Like this warm pear clementine juice spiced up with some of my favourite spices aka cloves, cardamom and ginger.
You can whip it up in less 15 mins and have a gorgeous smelling kitchen to boot. It is also a great make ahead drink for brunch gatherings and more.
This warm clementine pear juice is very adaptable. Feel free to add in a bit more clementine juice or pear juice and vary the spices you add in according to your pantry staples. Both the kiddoes and adults like it as a cold, cold day or Christmas drink or even a New Year’s day warmer. And if you really really miss having some mulled wine, then add in a dash of vodka or a little bit of rum and you get a taste of Christmas in February.
Obsessive with Christmas, yeap. But in a good way, as I now have your some of your Christmas 2016 drinks covered.

- Juice of 2 clementines
- 1L (4 cups) pear juice
- A squeeze of lemon juice
- 1 clementine sliced
- 4 cloves
- 4 cardamom pods
- 6 slices of ginger
- Add all the ingredients to a pot, bring to simmer over low heat and simmer for 10 mins.
- Switch off heat and then let steep for about 10 mins.
- Discard spices, warm up and serve.
