Some FAQ’s

How Long to Air Fry Butternut Squash?

This depends the size of the Butternut Squash. Smaller cubes like in this recipe will need less time and thicker ones will need more. This recipe took about 20 minutes.

If you are unsure, then start with 15 minutes and test, then add a couple of extra minutes at a time till you get them perfect.

It’s important to keep in mind that air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. I recommend starting with less cook time, checking your food for doneness, then adding more time as needed.

How To Peel and Cut Butternut Squash

Folks, it is super easy to peel and cut Butternut Squash yourself :

  • It is easier to peel it if you cut it in half first (crossways).
  • Cut it in the middle between the narrow neck and rounder bottom.
  • Then put the flat cut surface down, so that it is stable and peel downwards with a sharp and slightly heavy knife.
  • After peeling, scoop out but don’t discard the seeds as these can be roasted and eaten.
  • Slice or cube the butternut squash before steaming, boiling, roasting or frying it.

Good recipe. Easy to put together.
I don’t use a knife anymore to cut my squash; I use a simple grater. Tool looks kind of like a divining rod. It peels the skin very well and because it is easier to use, you can make a more controlled slice that takes a narrower cut…plus you don’t cut off squash that is intended for the meal.
    Otherwise, it was very good.
