This Cherry Crisp is simple, quick and is the stuff that dessert dreams are made of. It is made easily and quickly in the air fryer and is perfect served as is or topped with non dairy ice cream or whipped cream. Suitable for vegan and gluten free diets. Post includes Weight Watchers points.
Hola, summer. Which means an abundance of fruit some of which make their way into fruit crisps of every variety – you seriously can crisp anything. Pear crisp, apple crips, peach crisp and my current fave, this Air Fryer Cherry Crisp.
Yeap, you heard that right, easy Cherry Crisp cooked up in the Air Fryer. Made with just 5 simple ingredients!!
What’s even better is that this is much easier than regular Cherry crisp, because of the easy peasy granola topping. No having to roll together oats, flour and butter and then hope that you don’t end up with a soggy topping. Nope, no soggy toppings here.
We start with an easy already-made granola and end with as just as crispy of a topping. The secret to this is adding the granola topping during the last few moments of cooking. Simply delicious!
Reasons To Love Cherry Crisp
- Sweet and juicy summertime cherries.
- The no-fail crispy granola topping.
- The hint of almond extract to make this beyond wow.
- Make-ahead (without the topping) and triple up to serve a crowd.
- Serve a la mode with ice cream, or top it off with fluffy whipped cream.
