To Air Fry Cooked Frozen Shrimp

Top Tips
- Make sure the shrimp are separated (not in a big clump) before cooking.
- For the best results do not overcrowd the air fryer basket so that the hot air circulates well and the shrimps all cook through.
- If your air fryer is small you may need to cook in batches.
- No extra oil is needed for this recipe.
- Do shake the basket at least once during the cook time.
- Bigger shrimp may need a little more time.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.
Air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. I recommend starting with less cook time, checking for doneness, then adding more time as needed.
Seasoning Ideas
If you want to add seasoning, then feel free to do so in the last 1-2 minutes of cooking. Add dry seasoning of your choice including some grated parmesan, lemon pepper seasoning, stone house seasoning, Italian seasoning, curry powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
Storage
Store – Leftover cooked shrimp should be stored as soon as they have cooled in an air tight container the fridge and eaten within 2-3 days.
How Long To Cook Frozen Shrimp In Air Fryer
Cooking times depend on whether the shrimp is raw or cooked, as well as the size of the shrimp and the temperature. Jumbo / larger shrimp will take a little longer to cook. Based on a 400F / 200C temperature, here is how long to cook shrimp;
- Cook battered raw shrimp for 8-11 minutes.
- Plain non battered raw shrimp cooks for 8-11 minutes.
- Cook already cooked shrimp for 5-6 minutes.
