Pro Tips

  • Find turkey wings with the other poultry in your local grocery store or check with your butcher.
  • Turkey wings are usually sold whole, so you will want to remove the wing tip and separate the flat and the drum.
  • Freeze the wing tips to use for making stock.
  • Pat dry with paper towels before adding the seasoning rub.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket! Leave space between the wings while cooking to allow the air to circulate.
  • If necessary, cook air fryer turkey wings in batches
  • For best results, preheat your air fryer.
  • Lightly spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent the turkey wings from sticking.
  • Once the wings have reached temperature and are fully cooked, cook for five more minutes if needed to get super crispy skin
  • Different air fryers operate slightly differently. Air fryer cooking times are estimated, so it’s essential to check your food for doneness and adjust the cooking time as needed.
