Recipe Tools
- Mixing Bowl.
- Air Fryer.
- Salt.
How To Make Air Fryer FlatBread
- Mix the flour and yogurt and oil (and any other add-ins, if using) in a mixing bowl until combined.
- Add dough to a floured work surface with flour and knead for a minute so it comes together. Use a little oil on the work surface to prevent the dough from sticking.
- Divide the bread dough into 8 and roll these sections into balls.
- Flatten each ball and then use a rolling pin to roll each piece into 3-4 inch (10-12cm) rounds.
- Preheat the air fryer to 300F / 148C, spray on a little oil and add your flatbread.
- Place flatbread in the air fryer basket and cook each one for 8 to 9 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time. Sometimes they will puff up in the air fryer, so you may want to place a trivet on top to keep them flat and prevent them from being blown around.
- Repeat until all the flatbreads are cooked.

Yogurt Bread Recipe Tips
- I prefer my yogurt flatbread with slightly crunchy edges, so I roll them out thinner and then air fry for a little longer.
- You can easily double or triple the recipe, then air fry in batches and keep warm until ready to serve.
- Cook time depends on the thickness and size of the rolled dough – so start out with less time if you are unsure and increase accordingly.
- It’s important to note that air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model.

Recipe Variations
You can flavor your air fried flatbread however you wish. I suggest you make a basic plain batch, split it into portions and get everyone to sprinkle on their add-ins as they are rolling out the dough. Here are just a few mix-in suggestions to try:
- thyme
- basil
- parsley
- cayenne pepper
- rosemary
- black pepper
- stone house seasoning

Yogurt Bread Recipe Tips
- I prefer a slightly crunchy yogurt flatbread, so I roll them out thinner and air fry a little longer.
- You can easily double or triple the recipe but then have at least 2 skillets on the go so you can cook them faster.
- Cook time depends on the thickness and size of the rolled dough – so start out with less time if you are unsure and increase accordingly.
- It’s important to note that air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. I recommend starting with less cook time, check food for doneness then add more time as needed.

Check your math โclaim.โ TWO ingredients would be flour & yogurt. Flour, yogurt, & oil equals THREE ingredients. Recipe is simple & good …but please, adding oil is also adding to calories & nutrition totals.

That nutrition info is way of, at least the sodium is. A quarter cup of Gold Medal Self Rising flour has 390 mg of sodium which means each flatbread will have at least 390 mg of sodium. That wouldn’t include the sodium in whatever brand of yogurt you used.
Can almond or coconut flour be used instead?
