This Blueberry Mojito is tasty and oh so simple to make with just 6 ingredients! The blueberries add a lovely colour and twist to the classic cocktail. So ramp up the fun at your drinks parties with some stunning Blueberry Mojitos.

And yaye for this Blueberry Mojito. And this Raspberry Mojito and this Rhubarb Mojito. And mojitos of any kind. Who is with me on this?

This my fun fruity take on a traditional mojito recipe. I added some fresh blueberries for both taste and colour (I am a food blogger guys and colour is important, so bear with me). You can quite easily swap out the blueberries for other berries that you have lying around.

 How To Make Blueberry Mojito

Step 1. Combine the mint, blueberries, lime juice and sugar syrup in a glass and crush the mint leaves as you mix.

Step 2. Then stir in the rum.

Step 3. Top with some ice and soda water, garnish and serve.

As you can see, these mojitos are really easy to make and are definitely perfect for quenching the thirst amongst the crowd. I recommend making a big pitcher of this at least 15 mins before guest arrive so that you can greet guests with an ice-cold cocktail upon arrival.

So here is my tip – invite a few friends over for brunch or a bbq, whip up a blueberry mojito or two, break out some eats including some grilled pomegranate harissa chicken and balsamic grilled peach and grilled scallop salad and enjoy the company away.

Blueberry Mojito Tips and Variations

Blueberry Mojito With Vodka

Yes, you can make your blueberry mojito with vodka instead. This drink is really, really versatile. Swap the rum for your favourite brand of vodka instead and you are good to go.

Blueberry Mojito Mocktail

To make this a Blueberry Mojito Mocktail instead simply skip the rum and add in some lemonade instead.

Ingredients

For the blueberry mojito:

  • Small handful of mint leaves
  • 20 blueberries
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 60 ml (0.25 cup) sugar syrup
  • 60 ml (0.25cup) white rum
  • Ice
  • Soda water to taste

To garnish

  • Mint leaves
  • Lime slices
  • Extra blueberries

Instructions
