Prep Ahead And Meal Prep

Prep Ahead – This easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip is perfect to make ahead and store in the fridge until it’s time to serve it…. if it makes it until then. It’s so good, it’s hard not to nibble on it as you’re making it. Keep in mind that storing it in the fridge until you’re ready to eat it helps it stay firm and easy to dip into.

If you find yourself short on time, don’t worry, this decadent dip recipe can be whipped up in less than 5 mins, so prepping ahead isn’t always necessary.

Freeze – Somehow, if you have any leftover dip, or made extra to freeze you CAN freeze this tasty dip.

  • Once the dip is finished, transfer it to these very handy Ziploc freezer bags.
  • Squeeze out all the extra air and seal the bags.
  • Label the bags and then lay them flat in the freezer.
  • Store in the freezer for 3 months.

To Thaw Dip

  • Remove from the freezer and let thaw to room temperature.
  • You may need to add a bit of salt or vanilla to the dip and mix it all together to bring back the delicious flavors.

Recipe Variations

This recipe is so dang good as is – However, here are some ideas if you’re looking to change it up a bit,

  • Nuts.
  • Toffee Bits.
  • Colorful sprinkles.
  • Dried fruit.
  • Oats. You can add in some oats for some texture. Keep in mind that when adding oats to this no-bake dessert, it will change the thickness of the dip. So, only add in small amounts at a time.

FAQ’s

What’s the Difference Between Monster Cookie Dough Dip and Monster Cookies?

First off, Monster Cookie Dough Dip is a safe, edible dip to eat without baking. It doesn’t have ingredients that need to be baked in order to enjoy this sweet treat. You simply mix it all together and try not to devour it by the spoonful before you share.

Monster Cookies are made with Peanut Butter Cookie Dough that DOES need to be baked in order to be safely eaten. It also uses chocolate sweets like M&M’s and chocolate chips.

Monster Cookies tend to be semi-hard to make for some people. I often hear some people asking why their cookies fell apart, were too flat, too hard, etc.

That’s ANOTHER reason why the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip is even more perfect. You don’t have to worry about baking it and having the “too flat, too hard or falling apart” issues.
