Air Fryer Frozen Broccoli Tips

  • For the best results preheat Air Fryer before cooking this.
  • You will end up with liquid inside the base of the basket of the Air Fryer from the melted ice. Use tongs to remove the cooked vegetable, then carefully pour out the excess water.
  • Make sure to separate florets that are stuck together before cooking.
  • The Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli will be really hot, so let it cool down before eating.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer so the florets cook evenly. If your air fryer is small you may need to cook this in batches.
  • If using an Air Fryer oven style version, try and use the middle tray as the top tray would cook quicker and the lower tray will cook slower.
  • Try and cook similar sized florets at the same time so they cook at an even rate.
  • Head on over to this post to learn How to use an Air Fryer.
  • Broccoli can get a little messy in the basket so feel free to use some parchment paper in the basket to make clean up easier.

Variations

  • Vary the veggies – you can use a combination of frozen broccoli and cauliflower.
  • Add extra seasoning – add extra at the end. See some tasty ideas below.
  • Add cheese – like vegan cheese or parmesan cheese.
  • Citrus – serve with lemon wedges.

Seasoning Ideas

Feel free to add extra seasoning after cooking. Add the dry favorite seasonings of your choice, such as grated parmesan, oregano, chopped cilantro or parsley, lemon zest, stone house seasoning, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes or plain old salt and pepper.
