  • Battered vs. Breaded – While you can cook both battered and breaded fish sticks, in the same manner, the battered fillets will get much crispier in the air fryer. 
  • Oil – For extra crispy fish sticks, you can spray them with some cooking oil.

How To Cook Frozen Fish Sticks In Air Fryer

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400F / 204C and lightly spray the basket with oil.
  2. Remove frozen fish sticks from the package and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. 
  3. Cook for 7-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature has reached 165F / 74C. 
  4. Remove from air fryer, serve and enjoy!

  • Do not defrost the fish sticks. Go directly from the freezer to the air fryer. 
  • If your fish is dry after cooking, squeeze a bit of lemon juice over them. It adds moisture and flavor. 
  • Your first batch will be sort of a test run. Adjust time and temperature based on the size of your favorite frozen fish fillets. 
  • Flip the fish sticks halfway through cooking. To ensure they cook all the way through and are crispy on both sides.
  • If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook in batches.
