Bintu’s Tips
- The veggies cook from frozen in this recipe. Please do not thaw them first.
- If you want crispy hash browns, then break up the frozen potatoes before air frying, as larger clumps may not crisp up. Like with frozen peas, you can whack the packet against the counter to break them up.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. The air needs to circulate to cook the food evenly and crisp it up. Work in multiple batches to cook crispy hash browns. Cook the first batch, then remove and add subsequent batches.
- If you want them extra crispy you might need to cook them for a few more minutes. You can also try adding a little more oil if you prefer, just be careful not to add too much.
- Be careful when you flip the patties so that they do not break during the cooking process. Use a spatula to turn them as well as to avoid scratching the basket.
- Larger pieces of hash browns may need to cook for an additional minute or two.
- Season to taste with a good quality salt and fresh ground pepper.
- Air fryer temperatures will vary depending on the make and model, so use the cooking time listed as a guide only and adjust as needed. Do check more closely the first time you use your air fryer to make these, as that will give you a good idea for how long you will need to cook each batch.

Prep And Storage
- Prep Ahead – No need to prep ahead. Go from freezer to air fryer to table in under 15 minutes.
