  • These will be golden and puffy when done.
  • For the best results do not overcrowd the air fryer basket so that the hot air circulates around all sides. Place them in a single layer and do not stack them.
  • The amount you can fit in depends on the size of your air fryer basket or tray. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Don’t skip the step of lightly spraying the pierogies with oil or cooking spray. This not only enhances the crispiness but also helps achieve that golden brown color. A little goes a long way, so a light coating on both sides is perfect.
  • For the best results, flip the pierogies about half way through cooking.
  • The inside of the pierogies gets quite hot, so let them cool down a little bit before you dig in.
  • You may need to cook for a few minutes more if you want them crispier pierogies.
  • Once they’re done, resist the temptation to dive right in. Let the pierogies cool slightly before serving. This not only prevents any accidental burns but also allows the flavors to settle, making each bite even more enjoyable.
  • Air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. I recommend starting with less cook time, checking for doneness, then adding more time as needed.
