Tips for Making Air Fryer Chocolate Cake

  • It is very important to mix the ingredients until the batter is nice and fluffy. Otherwise, your cake will be too dense.
  • Make sure to use oven mitts when removing the cake pan from the air fryer.
  • I used a combination of walnuts and pecans, but chopped almonds or hazelnuts are also great choices.

Why You’ll Love This Gluten Free Chocolate Cake Recipe

You only need one bowl! No need to mix your wet and dry ingredients in separate bowls. Simply dump everything into one bowl, mix until the batter is fluffy, then pour into prepared cake pan. It is just that simple and easy.

Baking in the Air Fryer is energy efficient. I loooooove not having to use the oven when I want to bake something. Not only is the air fryer is more energy efficient, it doesn’t heat up the house which is especially nice during the hot summer months.

This is a super versatile chocolate cake recipe. You can dress this up for a birthday or other special event by frosting with a delectable cream cheese icing (like the one I use in my Cardamom Beetroot Chocolate Cupcakes recipe post). Or for a more casual occasion, top it off with just a little dusting of confectioner’s sugar.top down view of finished air fryer chocolate cake dusted with confectioner's sugar
