Green Smoothie Bowl (Green Tea Smoothie Bowl) topped with berries, granola and rose petals

Oh, the summer holidays are sadly over. It was such joy to hang out with the kiddoes and discover fun things to do and places old and new to visit.

It seems though, that my energy has gone along with the holidays. I find it a little bit harder to get up and go. So I need a little help to get out of bed. Enter this easy peasy Green Smoothie Bowl.

Smoothie bowls are more than just a smoothie in a bowl. They can be a healthy and a super filling meal by themselves. And you can top them with an endless combination of flavours, depending on your taste and what is in season. I am a fan of green smoothies and regularly whip them up using spinach.

This time though I decided to change it up and use some matcha green tea instead. All that energy concentrated in one teaspoon of green tea powder is just what I need to wake me up. So yeah, welcome to my Matcha Green Smoothie Bowl.

How To Make Green Smoothie Bowl

  1. Blend all the matcha smoothie ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth.
  2. Check and adjust sweetness or add any extra liquid if you prefer.
  3. Divide the smoothie into two bowls and add toppings of your choice.

I topped this Green Matcha Smoothie bowl with quinoa granola, berries and some rose petals for fragrance. Simple, delicious and oh so perfect.
