Easy Christmas Dip
Along with this Christmas cookie dip, this is one of my favorite Christmas dessert dips to make. I love serving it as we watch Christmas movies, including the How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie, during Christmas parties, and of course, while opening Christmas presents.
And like my Gingerbread cheesecake dip, this no bake Grinch dessert dip tastes like Christmas Grinch Cookies but without any *raw cookie dough* stress since it is both flour-free and egg-free. Perfect right?

Ingredient Notes
- Cream cheese – use full-fat softened cream cheese for the best, most flavorful results.
- Powdered sugar – make sure it is sifted.
- Vanilla extract – Use store-bought or homemade. And you can add more to your taste.
- Cool Whip – or you can use whipped heavy cream.
- Green food coloring – I find gel coloring is best.
- Sprinkles – use red heart sprinkles for the classic Grinch look.

Bintu’s Notes
- Choose high-quality ingredients to get the very best flavor.
- Bring your cream cheese to room temperature for easier mixing.
- You can adjust the amount of powdered sugar to make it more or less sweet, as you prefer.
- Add more or less food coloring, according to your taste and preference.

Storage
- Prep — To make this dip ahead of time, prepare the mixture and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Allow it to come to room temperature before serving for the best flavor and texture. It is best enjoyed within the first 1-2 days for optimal freshness.
- Storage — Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days. Before serving, allow it to come to room temperature for the best flavor and texture. If the dip becomes too thick after refrigeration, you can stir in a little milk or water to reach the desired consistency. You can only store this for 3 days, so do this if you have not already prepped ahead and stored it previously.
- Freezing — Avoid freezing the dip, as the texture may change upon thawing.
FAQS
Yes, you can substitute an equal amount of homemade whipped cream for the whipped topping. Just make sure it’s lightly sweetened.
If you prefer a less sweet dip, you can reduce the amount of powdered sugar according to your taste. Start by adding ¾ cup (90 grams) and adjust as desired.
Yes, you can use low-fat cream cheese as a substitute. However, this may affect the texture and flavor slightly.
