Summer Fun With Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream Bars

Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream Bars Review - Recipes From A Pantry

So, I have been lucky enough to enjoy the final days of summer.

Both the kiddoes are now at school, which means I have one free morning each week when I can just have some me time. That is such a luxury that I am trying never ever to take it for granted.

nd my me time was rather fab this week due to 3 things. Firstly, gorgeous weather with blue skies, sunshine and warmth African style.  The sort of warm that makes me happy to get out of bed and get on with my day.

Secondly – I got the spend my morning at Aldeburgh beach. By myself. In the sun. With a book. Bliss.

Thirdly it was due to to some rather fab ice cream. Clearly no trip to a beach, on a blue skies sun out day, is complete without an ice cream or two. And in my case I got to try out the three brand new Ice Cream bars from Häagen-Dazs.

My absolute favourite was the salted caramel bars. Just think about it right? Rich. Creamy Indulgent. Salted. Caramel. Ice Cream. With A. Chocolate Coating. Pretty much heaven in every bite right?

The white chocolate and almond  came a close second with the creamy vanilla ice cream, crunchy caramelised almonds and the white Belgian chocolate coating.

And then the vanilla caramel almond bars I really did sit there and eat the entire chocolate and crunchy almonds coating before tucking in to the caramel and ice cream mix.  So so satisfying.

What I love about the bars is that I know what I am getting with Häagen-Dazs. I am still getting that good quality ice cream, made with great ingredients, in an easy on the go (and at the beach) way. The surprising fillings hello crunch almonds are just the icing on the ice cream.

Folks seriously, you need to make the most of the last few days of summer and go out and try these Häagen-Dazs bars, starting with the salted caramel ones. Best treat ever.

The new stick bars from Häagen-Dazs are available in convenience stores, Tesco Express and the Co-op  with a RRP of £2.29. To find out more, visit www.Häagen-Dazs.co.uk, or www.facebook.com/haagendazsuk. You can also find Häagen-Dazs on Twitter and Instagram by searching @haagendazsuk.

  1. Just had my first salted caramel ice cream last night. It was sugar free & mighty good. Thanks for the heads up on stick option!
