  1. Pour ¼ cup of water into a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Place the broccoli florets on the dish and sprinkle salt all over
  3. Cover the dish with plastic wrap, making sure to leave a small space on the edge for steam to escape.
  4. Microwave on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds,  then test for doneness.
  5. Continue cooking as needed for 30-45 seconds intervals until cooked through.
  6. Broccoli will usually take about 5 minutes to steam in the microwave.

How Long To Steam Broccoli
