Includes everything from customizable recipe templates, cover pages, and inventory lists to super helpful cheat sheets. If you’re like me, you want to spread the Instant Pot joy. And that means introducing the uninitiated in your life to the wonder that is the Instant Pot. What could be better than gifting your favorite kitchen appliance to your favorite people?
When shopping for Instant Pots, there two key factors to keep in mind: the amount of pre-programmed functions and the total size. The Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 and Instant Pot Duo 9-in-1 are the most popular models out there.
The 8 quart 7-in-1-model (the one I own) performs these functions:
- Pressure Cooker
- Slow Cooker
- Rice/Porridge Cooker
- Yoghurt Maker
The 8 qt Instant Pot Duo 9-in-1 model does everything listed above, plus two additional functions:
- Cake/Egg Maker
- Sterilizes (good for canning and cleaning baby bottles)
If you have people on your gift list that cook for 1 or 2, or for those who don’t have a lot of space, the 3 qt Instant Pot Duo is the perfect fit. It’s also great for the Instant Pot fanatics who are looking for a second (or third) to add to their arsenal.
Ready to take your Instant Pot game to the next level? I’ve compiled this list of my very favorite Instant Pot accessories. These are the items that I go back to again and again.
Each and every one of these items are sooooo useful and make cooking and baking with the Instant Pot even easier and more efficient. Once you have them, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without them!
Extra Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot – 8qt: Having more than one inner pot means no downtime! You can cook in one pot, remove it from the Instant Pot housing, insert your second pot and continue cooking. Multiple inner pots also means you can keep on cooking while one is being washed.
And you can use these with silicone lids (see below) to store your food in the fridge without having to transfer to separate containers. Having less dishes to wash is always a good thing!
Extra Instant Pot Sealing Ring 2-Pack: Having more than one sealing ring is a great way to avoid the potential for odor contamination. I think these colored versions are so smart; you can easily assign one sealing ring for cooking sweet foods and one for savory foods.
Genuine Instant Pot Silicone Lid 5 and 6 Quart: Perfect for storing soups and stews right in the inner pot, which makes it soooo easy to just pop back into the Instant Pot and reheat. Also great when you want to make a big batch of yoghurt and keep it nice and fresh in the fridge all week long.
Genuine Instant Pot Tempered Glass lid: Don’t be bogged down with the big bulky lid when using non-pressurized Instant Pot settings. This glass tempered lid is perfect for slow cooking function and I love being able to see what’s happening when I’m using the sauté mode. You can also use it when storing food inside your inner pot in the fridge.
Steamer Basket Set: This super handy set includes steaming baskets, trivet, egg cooking rack, measuring spoons, silicon mitts, and more! Even comes with handy Instant Pot cooking times reference cards. A perfect gift that will cover all your steaming needs!
Vegetable Steamer Basket: This is one versatile stainless steel steamer basket. Not just great for steaming veggies, you can use it for seafood, eggs, even as a colander or strainer. And it folds up to half its size for super easy storage.
Tongs: I love using these colorful silicone-coated tongs! They are super grippy and long enough to easily reach the bottom of the Instant Pot. And you don’t have to worry about scratching up that shiny inner pot. A must for any non-stick pots and pans.
Egg Steamer Rack: Perfect for making hard- and soft-boiled eggs. With two stacked levels, you’re able to cook twice as many eggs at one time. Also works great for elevating baking pans and steamer baskets.
Genuine Instant Pot Mini Mitts: These are my very favorite oven mitts! Perfect for pulling out hot inner pots, baking pans, and steamer baskets from the Instant Pot. I use them all the time, when cooking with the oven, on the stovetop and with my air fryer. They’re non-slip, non-stick and even nest inside one another for easy storage.
Silicon Molds: Just the thing for making those super popular egg bites, cute mini muffins, keto breakfast bombs, even brownies. I use them to make perfectly-portioned meatballs. This awesome set includes a nifty steamer basket and a pair of super cute mini mitts!
Meat Thermometer: This is seriously a must-have for every kitchen. With a large, easy-to-ready display, this thermometer gives you a super fast, super accurate read. It really is the most important kitchen accessory. The magnetic back means you can stash it on your fridge for easy access. Available in a variety of fun colors too.
Travel Tote Bag for Instant Pot: Never be without your beloved Instant Pot again. This travel tote makes it so easy to take your Instant Pot to parties, potlucks, even on vacation! Also a great storage solution for those with limited countertop space. Includes a front pocket and zippered compartment on top so you can easily keep your accessories and cookbooks in one place.
Whipping up delectable baked goods in the Instant Pot is about to get even easier, thanks to these handy and helpful accessories. Both those new to baking with the Instant Pot and seasoned aficionados alike will appreciate how these tools simplify and streamline the baking process. Get ready to unleash your inner Mary Berry!
Springform Cake Pan: A must-have for every baker, a springform pan helps you achieve Instant Pot cheesecake perfection! I love using mine to make cookie bars and brownies too.
3-cup Bundt Pan: Not just for making bundt cakes (and there are sooooo many great recipes out there), this pan is also perfect for baking breads, pull-apart biscuits, even meatloaf! Plus it makes even the most basic recipe look pretty and refined.
7 Inch Round Cake Tin: This is the most versatile pan for Instant Pot baking. Not only is it great for all sorts of baked goods, you can use it to cook meats, casseroles, quiches, the list goes on and on. Friends, if you could only buy one pan to use in your Instant Pot, this should be it.
Parchment Liners: You have got to try these liners; they make removing your baked goods (and cleaning up after) so much easier! No more having to fold or cut your parchment paper to fit, they are designed to fit right inside your pans with no effort at all. I only wish I had discovered these amazing little liners sooner.
Stainless Steel Measuring Cup And Spoon Set: Hate rummaging around your cabinets searching for the right size of measuring cups and spoons (why is the 1/2 teaspoon always missing anyway)? Me too, which is why I highly recommend saving time and sanity by purchasing these sets of stackable stainless steel cups and spoons. They hook together and nest for easy storage, so you can rest assured you’ll always have the size you need.
Kitchen Torch: Forget the hassle of finishing off your Instant Pot creations under the grill. Use this kitchen torch to perfectly caramelize and brown all sorts of delicious desserts. Especially suited for achieving that perfect topping on your Instant Pot Crème Brûlée. Yum!
