Grenadine Substitutes

No worries if you can’t get a hold of grenadine, you can always use other similar red syrups, such as:

  • Black currant cassis
  • Jamaican fruit punch syrup
  • Pomegranate molasses
  • Strawberry syrup

Rum Punch Variations

Whilst this is one of my favorite rum punch recipes – I have whipped up many other versions based on what I have available and what guests might like.

I tend to make this with white rum. However, I love adding in coconut rum which gives it an extra splash of Caribbean flavor. You can also use spiced rum as well as dark rum to suit your taste.

On special occasions, I even add in a cup of Champagne or Prosecco and that worked well too. Fizzy and fun!

Just made this because it’s Friday and why not…delicious! Made it with coconut rum, because that’s what I had and it’s my favorite, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Even my husband, the drinker of beers, enjoyed it!
