Greetings from the garden office.

A kiwi, mango and pineapple smoothie with coconut milk and pineapple juice. And easy tropical smoothie recipe. Recipesfromapantry.com

I love whipping up a breakfast smoothie like this pineapple smoothie, sit in the sunshine feeling tropical vibes, drink it and forget about the world.

It is super creamy smoothie that tastes a little bit like the piña colada you have on a beach vacation. This is the best pineapple smoothie and like my Watermelon Smoothie, makes a great treat for breakfast, brunch and more.

Even better is that you only need 4 ingredients and 5 minutes of prep time to whip it up.

Ingredient Notes

  • Frozen fruit – this recipe calls for frozen pineapple chunks, frozen kiwi, frozen mango and frozen strawberries. Make your own mix or get some from the grocery store.
  • Bananas – whilst I used fresh banana, you can use frozen banana. This adds to the creamy texture and natural sweetness.
  • Coconut milk – this uses called for canned coconut milk. Feel free to use lite coconut milk or the regular version.
  • Liquid – Pineapple juice adds a delicious flavor.

Delicious Variations

  • Add yogurt – you can try coconut yogurt, vanilla yogurt, vanilla greek yogurt etc.
  • You can use other dairy free milks like soya milk, almond milk, oat milk.
  • Fresh fruit – feel free to buy fresh pineapple instead of frozen pineapple and other fresh fruit too.
  • Greens – feel free to add in some healthy greens like add spinach and kale.
  • Use whole milk if not vegan.

  • Adding in chia seeds can make this thicker and add extra flavor.
  • A friend of mine adds vanilla protein powder to her version of this drink. You could alos add in some vanilla extract.
  • Top with granola and strawberries and shredded coconut.
