This is simply a sweet-tart topped with a layer of sweetened cream cheese, fresh seasonal berries, and a dusting of icing sugar. And the best news is that you only need 5 ingredients to make this. Yes, FIVE.

How to Make This Easy Red, White and Blue Puff Pastry Breakfast Tart
Well gather all your ingredients and let’s do this thing.
Step 1. Bake puff pastry. (Or if you prefer then buy an already made pastry crust).
Step 2. Whip the Cream Cheese, cream, and sugar.
Step 3. Spread whipped cream cheese mixture on puff pastry.
Step 4. Add the blueberries and raspberries (but feel free to experiment) and dust with icing sugar.
Step 5. Cut into several servings, gather around a few wonderful people, and enjoy.

Red, White and Blue Puff Pastry Breakfast Tart
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 150 g cream cheese
- 3 tbsp double cream
- 3 tbsp icing sugar (powdered sugar)
- 400 g of berries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to fan-assisted 180C / 200C / 400F / gas 6.
- Prepare the puff pastry sheet by slicing a half inch border (careful not to slice all the way through) and prick holes in the pastry. If you want a golden crust brush the edge of the pastry with egg wash.
- Bake the pastry for 18 mins, remove from the oven and let it cool.
- Add the cream cheese, double cream and icing sugar into a bowl and whisk until combines.
- In bowl mix together your cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla and whisk until combined.
- Add the cream cheese mix on to the puff pastry and spread.
- Then top with berries and icing sugar, cut in to portions and serve.
Loved this! Made for part of a great 4th breakfast.
