This Pumpkin Pie Spiced Whipped Coffee is what coffee is all about. Just like the Dalgona coffee that’s taking the Internet by storm, this is a sweet, cold, creamy, velvety drink that’s perfect for breakfast. Add in a hint of pumpkin pie spice and boom – drink heaven.

This Korean Coffee recipe is so simple, kinda like a non-recipe recipe. And definitely one latte that you will pull out for breakfast, brunch and as an anytime treat a few hundred times this year.

Oh, and you only need a few ingredients to whip up this whipped coffee: the popular Nescafe Instant coffee (a staple in most homes) along with milk, ice, and some sugar. And then it’s just a little measuring and a little whisking and you are good to go.

What is Dalgona Coffee?

Dalgona coffee is a popular beverage that blew up when a Macau cafe shared it on Korean TV. It is made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy.  Then you serve it on top of milk.

This is a fragrant, decadent treat that goes great over ice in the summer.

In the fall month or winter, I looooooove serving this hot with some warm milk, along with some easy Air Fryer Donuts. #somuchyum

How To Make Dalgona Coffee at Home

  1. In a medium mixing bowl add instant coffee, sugar, and boiling water. Make sure to measure all ingredients using the same measuring spoon and using level measurements.

Recipe Tips

  • Make sure to measure all ingredients using the same measuring spoon and using level measurements.
  • It is super important that you use the same amount of coffee, sugar, and water.
  • Be sure to use a large enough bowl because as you whip this mixture it will get much larger, and it also splatters a lot at the beginning.
  • Different mixers will take different amounts of time, and if you don’t have a mixer you can use a whisk and whip the coffee by hand.
  • If the flavor is too strong or too bitter, you can use half milk and half coffee creamer.
