- Quick and Easy – No complicated steps here. This straightforward recipe makes it perfect for a quick, refreshing drink without any hassle. And no cocktail shaker is required.
Ingredients Notes
- Fresh Raspberries – Bring natural sweetness and a beautiful color to the drink. You can use frozen raspberries if fresh ones aren’t available, but fresh is best.
- Mint Leaves – This gives it that signature mojito freshness. Make sure they’re fresh for the best taste.
- White Rum – White rum works best in mojitos for its light, complementary flavor. If you prefer, you can omit it for a non-alcoholic version.
- Fresh Lime Juice – Freshly squeezed lime juice is key for that zesty kick. It balances the sweetness of the raspberries perfectly.
- Soda water – Adds a fizzy component to your mojito, making it even more refreshing. You can adjust the amount of Club soda to suit your taste.
- Sugar syrup – Known as simple syrup. This is a sweetening agent made by dissolving sugar in water.
- Garnish (optional) – Mint leaves, Lime slices and Raspberries.

Raspberry Mojito Mocktail
To make a Raspberry Mojito mocktail, you can simply skip the rum and add in some lemonade instead. You could also try adding some ginger beer instead.
Expert Tips
- Balance the Flavors – Adjust the sweetness and tartness according to your preference. The key to a perfect mojito is finding the right balance between the raspberries, lime juice, and sugar.
- Muddle Gently – When muddling the fresh mint and raspberries, gently release the flavors without turning the mint bitter or the raspberries too mushy.
- Chill Your Glasses – Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before serving. This keeps your mojito colder for longer, enhancing the refreshing experience.
- Quality Ingredients – Use the freshest mint and raspberries you can find for the best flavor. The quality of the rum is also important – a smoother rum will make a smoother mojito.
- Ice is Key – Use plenty of ice to keep your mojito cold without diluting it too quickly. Crushed ice is often preferred as it chills the drink faster.
- Remember that these sweet cocktails go down easily, so make sure to drink responsibly and be mindful of your consumption.
Delicious Variations
- Berry Mojito – Mix it up by adding a variety of berries like strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries.
- Sparkling Raspberry Mojito – Use sparkling wine instead of club soda for a more sophisticated, bubbly version.
Prep And Storage
- Prep Ahead – You can make the sugar syrup for your Raspberry Mojito cocktail beforehand. Store it in the fridge for up to 1-2 weeks in a clean, airtight container. This way, you’re always ready to whip up a quick mojito whenever the mood strikes.
- Store – If you have leftover mojito (though, let’s be honest, what are the chances of that?), you can keep it in the refrigerator for about 4-5 days. Just keep in mind that the flavors might soften over time. I’m all about that fresh zing, so I recommend making it fresh each time.
- Freeze – Freezing can alter the texture and dilute the flavors, making it less than ideal when thawed. It’s best enjoyed freshly made and chilled.
FAQ’s
A Raspberry Mojito is made of fresh raspberries, mint leaves, lime juice, sugar syrup, white rum, and club soda, all combined to create a refreshingly sweet and tangy cocktail with a minty twist.
To make a Raspberry Mojito using Bacardi, simply replace the white rum in the original recipe with Bacardi rum.
Mojitos, with their fresh mint and lime juice, offer some nutritional benefits and can be relatively low in calories if made with less sugar.
However, they do contain alcohol and sugar syrup, so they’re best enjoyed in moderation. While not a health drink, a mojito can be a lighter option compared to many other cocktails.
