Seriously this is the best smokey grilled prawns recipe ever.
I take university mates reunions very seriously. I think the food blogger in me is thinking that people are always expecting me to produce very good food. Probably all in my head but I plan, practice and then plan some more months in advance.
And that is exactly what I did with these quick smoky grilled prawns (or smoky grilled shrimp depending if you are on the other side of the Atlantic). I wanted something that would work well as a starter along with some grilled tomatoes and cold white wine in the shade of our lovely old oak tree. The double smoky hit, from the smoked paprika and from finely chopped dried smoked peppers, worked really well. So two tries and one very happy Freddy later, I got the best grilled prawns recipe ever.
Now do try these double smoky grilled prawns yourself and let me know if you agree.
