I adore Lebanese food. Takeaways in Sierra Leone, always involved Lebanese food such as shawarmas, lentil rice and these spicy potatoes aka batata harra. Now that I am living in the UK, I still keep up that tradition. Seriously, my local Lebanese joint know as soon as they see me to whip up a lamb shawarma with extra chilli sauce, spicy chicken wings and the batata harra.

So it was rather awesome for me to be able to partner up with the lovely teams at üutensil and Albert Bartlett to bring your some lovely spicy potatoes. Just check out the video to see how easy it is to whip up your very own batata harra.

I must admit that British company üutensil is new to me – these guys create exciting, innovative and beautiful kitchen products that embrace how people really cook. Their products are all about making life that little bit easier every day. Just see their Flipp utensil, which is a turner, drained and cheese grater in one.  Or check out Tilt, the angled chopping board that keeps side hygienically clear of your worktop. Their award-winning utensils and tools have even been exhibited in the Design Museum. Seriously awesome and cool ideas right?

And have you guys heard about Albert Bartlett? They are a family owned company who have been bringing us their range of UK grown potatoes since 1948.  They are all about providing the best potatoes grown in the most responsible way.

You have probably come across some of their potatoes such as the versatile Albert Bartlett Rooster and the creamy, buttery Albert Bartlett Elfe potatoes or maybe even their purple majesty. They have also just introduced a range of frozen potato dishes, including rooster homestyle chips and rooster roast potatoes. Yeap, these guys have pretty much got your pantry and freezer needs covered. Do pop into your local supermarkets and wholefoods, grab yourself a few of their taties and make these spicy Lebanese potatoes. Your belly will seriously thank you :).
