Strawberry, Almond and Banana Smoothie
OK. I am hooked on smoothies.
And so is eldest mini chef. So much so that there has been a graduation from ‘mama, I want moodie’ to ‘mama, I want smoothie please’. So healthy food tick, language skills tick, manners an even BIGGER tick.
I already revealed my over the top summer strawberry growing in a previous post. Well I make a lot of fresh strawberry drinks in the summer months. However, I do also freeze lots of strawberries so I can continue my smoothie madness throughout the rest of the year. And continue it, I do.
And this filling strawberry, almond and banana smoothie makes a regular appearance at breakfast. And when I can get away with it at brunch and even dinner too. I can’t help it and well, I have admitted that I am hooked.
Hopefully, I am leaving you drooling over another one of my smoothie recipes whilst I go off and drink both those smoothies that you see in that picture right there……
Below are some other smoothie recipes you might like.

I haven’t used almonds before. Must try!
A, you seriously need to try this now.
I love smoothies too, Bintu, especially with an infusion of strawberries. They’re sweet and yet a little tangy at the same time – fairly low in calories. Perfect for a smoothie!
JV I like your thinking. Low in calories, yes please.
This smoothie looks great! I love using almond milk, but have never put almonds in my smoothies – can’t wait to try that!
You are in for a treat.
Almonds make it so much creamier tasting.
I’m also a huge smoothie fan, and am interested to try this one with almonds! Thanks for sharing!
