Recipe Tips And Variations
For the blender version
- Although this strawberry frosé is very easy to make, it requires a little bit of forward planning. You have to freeze the wine, as well as prepare and cool the strawberry syrup ahead of time. The easiest thing is to do this overnight, so you just grab and mix whenever you need them the next day.
- Freeze the wine in ice cubes trays. This makes it much easier to decant into the blender and whizz up.
- This is a great recipe to serve alongside any of these awesome summer dinner ideas!
For the Creami version
- Be sure to allow the mixture to freeze for the full 24 hours. It must be fully frozen in order to process correctly.
- Prep and freeze several recipes at once so you’ll always have a frozen pint ready to process!
- Make sure to freeze the pint container on a flat surface.
- Please do remember to add the pour-in in before processing.
- If you prefer a thinner drink, add in a a few extra tablespoons of the pour-in and RE-SPIN.
Storage
- This is best served straight away. However, you can make extra pints and store them in the freezer. Take them out and leave on the countertop for about 15 minutes before adding the pour-in and processing.

I NEEEEED to make these froses! Such a good boozy treat.
Boozy and pretty treats.
This treat must happen today 🙂 How lovely!
That is the spirit.
That looks so good!
Yes please!! This would be lovely for a girls’ night, but I don’t have one planned, so I might need to just drink a whole batch myself. 😉
Oh God, with the temperature so freaking high right now, I am dying for a glass (or a jar) of that strawberry rose. Wish I can lick the screen.
I will not judge you if you lick the screen…
I LOVE Frose! I just made a watermelon one the other day that I’m willing to blog later. But I still need to try the strawberry version.
I seriously need a batch of this at the moment! Today classified as one of those really hot, hot summer days here with the “feel like” temp above 100. I love slushy drinks and ones with wine are even better 🙂
I am seeing this all over the internet at the moment and I had no idea it was a thing. It sounds really refreshing though!
