Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Bacon Wrapped Asparagus is the ultimate appetizer to serve at Christmas, or your next dinner party.

Prepare up to 24 hours in advance, then bake the asparagus wrapped in bacon in the oven just before serving.

It’s Healthy(ish) Even with the bacon, you still get a whole serving of vegetables, so it’s a healthy, low carb side dish.

INGREDIENTS

Asparagus Bacon Olive oil Soy sauce Garlic salt Pepper

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C, line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and spritz with olive oil.

Step 2

Trim the asparagus, wrap each piece lengthwise with two slices of bacon, and place on the rimmed baking sheet.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, garlic salt and black pepper and brush the mixture over each piece of bacon wrapped asparagus.

Step 4

Finally, arrange the rosemary stems around the asparagus. They will add flavor as the asparagus cooks.

Step 5

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until bacon is crispy and asparagus is fork-tender.
