Open the cans of peas and drain in a colander to remove the water. Pour the peas into a skillet or saucepan then add water, butter and seasoning.
Stir over low to medium until the butter has melted, the seasonings have thoroughly mixed in, and the peas are warmed through.
Pour the peas into a microwave-safe dish with the water, butter and seasonings. If your dish has a lid, be sure to vent it.
