How To Cook Canned Peas

Learn how to cook canned peas that are full of flavor! It’s incredibly quick and easy to cook canned peas on the stovetop or in the microwave.

INGREDIENTS

- Canned peas - Water - Butter - Garlic powder - Salt and pepper

Step 1

Open the cans of peas and drain in a colander to remove the water. Pour the peas into a skillet or saucepan then add water, butter and seasoning.

Step 2

Stir over low to medium until the butter has melted, the seasonings have thoroughly mixed in, and the peas are warmed through.

Step 3

MICROWAVE: Open the peas and drain them in a colander to remove the water from the can.

Step 4

Pour the peas into a microwave-safe dish with the water, butter and seasonings. If your dish has a lid, be sure to vent it.
