Ingredients

  • 8 frozen hash browns

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
  • Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or line a sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Place the hash browns in a single layer on a sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. Turn halfway through, and cook until crispy and golden brown.

Notes

  • Grease the baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. 
  • For extra crispy frozen hash browns, place them on an oven proof baking rack on top of the prepared baking sheet. 
  • Spray frozen hash browns with olive oil or nonstick cooking spray to help with browning and make the potatoes crispy and crunchy. 
  • Place the potato patties in a single even layer on the baking tray. 
  • Turn the hash brown patties over halfway through the cooking time. 
  • Season with salt or your favorite seasoning blend before serving. 
  • Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days.
