Instructions
Preheat Air Fryer to 390 degrees F / 400 degrees C.
Cut bacon slices in half and stretch them a little.
Clean and remove any side muscles and then pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.
Wrap each scallop with one of the half slices of bacon. Secure the bacon around the scallops with a toothpick
Place scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry scallops for 8 - 11 minutes.
Remove the scallops from the air fryer. Remove toothpicks, and transfer to a paper towel lined plate to remove any excess bacon grease.

Notes
Scallops overcook quickly, so keep an eye on them while air frying.
Pat scallops dry using paper towels before wrapping bacon strips around them for cooking.
For even more crispy bacon, partially cook the bacon first before wrapping it around the scallops.
Choose same-sized scallops so they cook at the same rate. If they are a different size, remove smaller scallops from the air fryer when the bacon is crispy and cook larger ones for longer.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Arrange scallops in a single layer with space between them on the air fryer tray. You may need to cook the scallops in 2 batches.
Different air fryers operate slightly differently. Air fryer cooking times are an estimate, so it’s important to check your food for doneness and adjust as needed.
