Melted Snowman Chocolate Bark

Chocolate snowman bark is as fun to make as it is to eat!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (700g) milk chocolate
  • 15 (20g) white chocolate melting wafers
  • 24 Candy eyes
  • 24 Pretzel sticks
  • Orange candies or fondant
  • Edible pen

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate according to the package instructions and spread it out in an even layer on top of parchment paper.
  • Use 3 white chocolate wafers to form each snowman, placing onto the melted chocolate.
  • Quickly place on the eyes and noses, then draw on each mouth with an edible pen.
  • Position the pretzel sticks as snowman arms.
  • Let set for about 15 minutes (or longer) in the refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened.
  • Break or cut the bark into pieces.

Notes

  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler. 
  • Layer with milk chocolate first, then top with white candy melts. 
  • Draw the faces onto the candy melts before you melt the milk chocolate so you can move quickly before the chocolate hardens. 
  • Place the parchment paper on a baking sheet to easily transfer it to the fridge for cooling. 
  • Gently score the chocolate with the tip of a sharp knife to control where the breaks occur. 
  • Break the chocolate into pieces when it cooled and hardened completely. 
  • Don’t worry about trying to make the snowmen whole when breaking into pieces.
  • Storage - keep in an airtight container for 2 weeks.
