Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
Clean the mushrooms then cut into bite sized pieces.
Combine the olive oil, dry seasonings and balsamic vinegar (if desired) in a bowl.
Add the mushrooms to the seasoning and mix until well coated.
Spread the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-13 minutes, shaking several times during cooking until the mushrooms are tender and golden.
Serve hot or warm. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

You do not need to remove the mushroom stems.
