Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a small bowl or mason jar, combine the olive oil, mustard, honey, garlic, lemon juice.
  • Whisk or shake until well combined.

Notes

  • Don’t use your fancy olive oil. You want something light that binds the dressing without overwhelming the flavor.
  • Pour all ingredients into a mason jar, cover and shake to make this honey mustard salad dressing in seconds.
  • Experiment with dijon, yellow and grainy mustard to find a flavor combination you love.
  • Easily double or triple the recipe.
  • Replace the lemon juice with apple cider vinegar or a combination of lemon and vinegar.
  • Fresh lemon juice has a superior flavor to bottled lemon juice.
  • Whisk in a little sour cream or plain, unsweetened yogurt for a thick, creamy dressing.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Storage - store in an airtight container in the fridge for several weeks.
  • There are 3 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving of this.
