Notes
Start with high-quality, freshly ground coffee beans for the best flavor. A strong black coffee forms the foundation of this drink, so choose a blend that resonates with your taste preferences.
Opt for whole cardamom pods and split them just before brewing. This ensures the aromatic oils are at their peak, enhancing the flavor profile of the coffee. Crushing or grinding cardamom releases its essence, contributing to the brew's complexity.
Add the maple syrup when the coffee is hot to allow it to dissolve and infuse its sweetness evenly. This step ensures a balanced and nuanced sweetness throughout the entire drink.
Stir in the milk just before serving.
For the iced version, use chilled glasses to maintain the refreshing quality of the drink. Pour the infused coffee and milk mixture over the ice for a crisp and invigorating sip.
Storage keep refrigerated for 5 days.
