Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 oz package cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 packages M&M’s

Instructions

  • Cream together the butter and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  • In the same bowl, add the brown sugar, salt, vanilla, powdered sugar and peanut butter. Mix together on low until smooth.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Stir in the M&M’s.
  • Optionally, sprinkle a few M&M’s on top and serve with graham crackers or pretzels for dipping

Notes

  • Mixing the dip: As you mix together the butter and cream cheese, make sure there are no lumps. Mixing your dough well in the first step of this recipe will make sure your dip is lump-free when you eat it.
  • Save a few chocolate chips & M&M’s for topping: reserve a handful of chocolate chips and M&M’s to sprinkle on top of your dip (you can also crush the M&M’s).
  • Refrigerate until serving: keep your dip in the fridge until you’re ready to eat it. This will keep the dip firm and the right consistency for dipping.
  • Don’t be afraid to add in additional treats if you’ve got a super sweet tooth.

Serving Suggestions

  • apple slices
  • grapes
  • strawberries
  • vanilla wafers
  • pretzel rods or crisps
