Rice Krispies Pumpkin Treats

These festive treats are as fun to make as they are to eat!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/8 cup of butter
  • 4 cups of mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon orange food coloring
  • 10 mini Rolo candies
  • 1 tablespoon green icing

Instructions

  • Combine marshmallows, butter, and orange food coloring in a large saucepan and melt on medium heat.
  • Once melted, add in the cereal in batches, stirring to combine before adding more.
  • Remove from heat and place in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the freezer, then roll the mixture into 10 individual balls, making sure to spray your hands with oil between forming each ball, and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Place a mini Rolo candy on top for the pumpkin stem, and pipe on green icing leaves.

Notes

  • You can easily double or triple this recipe for a crowd.
  • Spray your hand with cooking spray between rolling the pumpkin balls to reduce the chance of them sticking to your hand.
