- 8 uncut whole frozen chicken wings or 16 separated frozen chicken wings
Preheat the air fryer to at 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
Add the frozen chicken wings directly into the air fryer basket, making sure to spread them out evenly. You may have to cook them in 2 batches
Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
For crispier wings, give them a few more minutes but keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
Remove from air fryer, season, or coat with the sauce of your choice before serving.
- For the best results do not overcrowd the air fryer basket so that the hot air circulates well and the wings crisp up.
- If your air fryer is small you may need to cook these in two batches.
- No extra oil is needed for this recipe.
- Do turn the wings at least once during cook time.
- If you want your wings to be a little bit crisper, cook for a few minutes more.
- Make sure you choose gluten free wings to make if you are gluten free.
- Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container inside the fridge for 3 days.
- There are 6 Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving.
