Instructions

Air Fryer Method:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C.
  • Place a whole rotisserie chicken in air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes until the chicken is heated through and the skin is crispy.

Oven Method:

  • ​​Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C.
  • Remove the chicken from its packaging and place the whole chicken in a baking dish.
  • Add a fourth of a cup of water or broth to the dish and cover tightly with foil to prevent the chicken from drying out.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until heated through.

Notes

  • Keep whole rotisserie chicken refrigerated, either in an airtight container or tightly wrapped.
  • Bring the chicken to room temperature for 30 minutes before reheating. 
  • Remove all of the original packaging before reheating.
  • Place the chicken in the top position of your air fryer if you have the option.
  • If you cut the chicken into pieces, you may need to adjust the cooking time. 
  • It is important to use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. Chicken is considered safe to eat when the internal temperature is at least 165 degrees F or 74 degrees C.
  • Air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. Use the reheating times listed as a guide, check for doneness, and then adjust the time as needed.
  • Storage - keep leftover rotisserie chicken inside the fridge for up to 4 days.
