Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C / gas mark 4.
Place frozen broccoli onto a rimmed baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and Italian seasoning. Toss to coat the frozen broccoli.
Place pan in the oven and roast for 20 mins turning halfway through cooking.
Serve.
Notes
Preheat both the oven and the sheet pan and place the broccoli on a hot baking sheet.
Line your baking sheet with parchment. This will prevent the broccoli from sticking, making it easier to turn during cooking. It also makes cleanup easy.
Add a squeeze of lemon juice for a bright flavor.
Add a pinch of sugar to help with the caramelization process.
Don’t overcrowd the pan. The broccoli needs space, so the water from the freezing process has a chance to cook off. Spread the frozen florets to ensure the broccoli is in a single layer.
Broccoli not caramelizing? Set the sheet pan under the broiler for a minute or two before serving to crisp up the edged.
Storage - keep leftover roasted broccoli in an airtight container inside the fridge for 3 days.
There is 1 WW BluePlan SmartPoint in a serving of this.
