How To Boil Broccoli

Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
Trim the broccoli and trim it into similar-sized pieces.
Add the raw broccoli florets to boiling water and boil for 3-5 minutes, depending on their size.
Test for doneness around the 3-minute mark.
Cook longer, as needed, until they are as tender as you desire.
Drain the boiled broccoli and place it in a serving dish.
Season as desired, then serve.

- Broccoli will be fork tender when it is cooked.
- Add butter, parmesan cheese, black pepper, and additional seasoning to season your broccoli after cooking.
