Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or line a sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Place the hash browns in a single layer on a sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. Turn halfway through, and cook until crispy and golden brown.
- Grease the baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- For extra crispy frozen hash browns, place them on an oven proof baking rack on top of the prepared baking sheet.
- Spray frozen hash browns with olive oil or nonstick cooking spray to help with browning and make the potatoes crispy and crunchy.
- Place the potato patties in a single even layer on the baking tray.
- Turn the hash brown patties over halfway through the cooking time.
- Season with salt or your favorite seasoning blend before serving.
