How to Make Banana Bread {Recipe Video}

How to make banana bread in an easy peasy way.

Ingredients

  • 200 g (7oz) self-raising flour
  • 2 over ripe bananas pureed
  • 70 g (2.5oz) Greek yoghurt
  • 45 g (1.5oz) caster sugar
  • 170 g (6oz) melted butter
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to fan assisted 140C / 160C / 320F / gas 3 and prepare a 2lb loaf tin.
  • Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix until combined.
  • Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared tin and smooth the top.
  • Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 1 hr or until a skewer inserted into the banana bread comes out clean.
  • Transfer to a rack to cool completely before serving.
