Preheat the oven to fan-assisted 160C / 180C / 350F / gas 4 and line and lightly oil two 20cm (8 inch) cake tins.
Make the cake. Add all the cake ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix with an electric whisk for 15 secs. Stop, scrap the mix down and whisk again for another 10 secs.
Dive the cake batter evenly between the cake tins and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 mind until lightly golden brown and springy.
Leave to cool in the cake tins for 5 mins before transferring to a wire rack and letting cool completely
Make the whipped cream by mixing the cream, sugar and lime zest together in a large bowl and whipping till the cream forms soft peaks
Then transfer one cake onto the serving tray and spread half of the whipped cream, and then half of the passion fruit seeds on top. Then place the second cake on top and spread the remaining whipped cream and decorate with the remaining passion fruit seeds and serve.
