Instructions
Switch Smart Waffle on, select classic setting and dial up to the brown setting you desire
Preheat waffle maker until the orange light flashes up and the word HEATING disappears.
Whisk together milk, butter and eggs and set aside.
Mix flour and sugar (if using) in a large bowl and make a hole in the centre.
Slowly whisk the milk mixture into the flour to make a batter and don't worry if there are some lumps.
Pour half a waffle measure cup of batter into each waffle square, close lid and cook until timer has finished and beeps three times.
Repeat until all the mixture is finished.
