Slow Cooked Almond Oats

Slow cooked or crockpot oats made even creamier with the addition of ground almonds.

  • 130 g (1.5 cups) rolled oats
  • 625 ml (2.5 cups) milk, use almond milk for dairy free option
  • 250 ml (1 cup) water
  • 2 tsp honey or to taste
  • 2 tbsp ground almonds
  • 1/2 tsp butter use vegetable oil for dairy free option


  • Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker (crockpot).
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  • Serve topped with toasted almonds and fresh fruit.


I keep mine in the fridge for up to 3 days.
