Slow Cooked Almond Oats
Slow cooked or crockpot oats made even creamier with the addition of ground almonds.

Ingredients

(1.5 cups) rolled oats
625
ml
(2.5 cups) milk, use almond milk for dairy free option
250
ml
(1 cup) water

tsp
honey
or to taste
2
tbsp
ground almonds
1/2
tsp
butter
use vegetable oil for dairy free option
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker (crockpot).
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
Serve topped with toasted almonds and fresh fruit.
Notes
I keep mine in the fridge for up to 3 days.
