Blackberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 200 g (1 ¼ cup) fresh or frozen blackberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 120-240 ml (½ -1 cup) milk
  • 120 ml (½ cup) Greek yogurt
  • maple syrup to taste optional

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth and then serve.

Notes

  • For this you can use either fresh blackberries when you have them available but if not frozen blackberries work a treat.
  • I prefer very thick smoothies so I use 1/2 cup (120ml) of milk. However please feel free to add up to another half a cup if you want a more liquid drink.
  • Make sure to only use ripe bananas – this is best for sweetness and easy blending.
  • Use a high powered blender if starting with frozen fruits.
