Strawberry Daiquiri

This summery frozen daiquiri recipe is sweet and tropical.

Ingredients

  • 550 g (4 cups) strawberries roughly sliced (you can use frozen too)
  • 200 g (1 cup) ice
  • 100 ml (4 oz) coconut rum (or normal rum if you prefer) (if following a gluten-free diet, confirm that brand is gluten-free)
  • 25 ml (1 oz) triple sec or other orange liqueur (optional) (if following a gluten-free diet, confirm that brand is gluten-free)
  • 0.5 tsp sugar
  • Juice of half a lime

Instructions

  • Add the strawberries, ice, rum, triple sec, sugar and lime juice into a high-powered blender.
  • Blend everything until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the Strawberry Daiquiri into 2 glasses, garnish and serve.

Notes

You can use frozen strawberries for a more frozen strawberry daiquiri. Do use a high-powered blender to crush the ice perfectly.
