Monster Halloween Popcorn

This spooky Popcorn is one of those easy Halloween treats that require only 5 ingredients and a few minutes to whip up.

Ingredients

  • Monster Popcorn
  • 70 g (10 cups) popped popcorn
  • Halloween Sprinkles
  • Candy eyes
  • Sweets
  • 340 g (12 oz) bag of candy melts (you can have a mix of colours)

Instructions

  • Add the popcorn in a large bowl and lay out the sprinkles, candy eyes and sweets.
  • Melt the candy melts in a large bowl according to the packet instructions.
  • Pour the melted candy into the popcorn and mix till all coated.
  • Then stir in the sprinkles, eyes and sweets, decant into serving sized bowls and set aside to harden and serve.

Notes

Recipe Tips

  • Feel free to use only one colour of candy melts if you prefer.
  • Make sure you have everything ready to go before you melt the candy – as this hardens up relatively quickly. If that happens just pop them back into the microwave for 30 secs and stir before any more dipping.
  • You can add in chopped cookies or marshmallows too.
  • Another option for coating the popcorn is melted white chocolate (which can be mixed in with food colouring).
  • Please do discard any unpopped kernels before making your Halloween popcorn mix as you do not want to bit into these when enjoying your snack.
